The Lockdown!
It no longer news the world is facing a pandemic of epic proportions. In all my years of living, this is my first time experiencing such an event.
- Companies promoting work from home policies
- Schools closed
- City parks, communal places, and libraries closed
- Gyms closed
- Groceries stores look like apocalyptic scenes with long queues and panic buying
- Social awkwardness of greeting without shaking
- The uncomfortable feeling of shaking then looking for the nearest washroom to wash your hands or hand sanitizer station
As part of the list of activities to stay sane over the next few weeks, I have decided to track daily usage of different applications in my household and blog about it.
Tools of trade
The following is a list of devices and applications that will be used.
- Ubiquiti UniFi Security Gateway 3P

- Ubiquiti UniFi AP-AC-LR
- Internet Service Provider web app
Usage
The UniFi Security Gateway 3 has a limitation whereby I am unable to select time and date range for reporting application usage of the network. For this reason, I have taken a snapshot from which I will track usage based on increments.
